1) New features
---------------

1-1 Administration
1-1-1 Virtual server management (Remote Backup)
This is the major improvement of the version 4.2
It is now possible to create virtual servers on different TCP ports.
This means that multiple virtual servers can share one library.
	  Each virtual server is independant.
To connect to a specific virtual server, you need to set the environment
	  variable ARKX_USE_PORTNUM to "1".
This can also be done in file /usr/knox/arkx/arkx.prf
You need a specific license to use this feature.

1-1-2 Tapes and pool owners.
It is possible to specify the owner of a tape or a pool.
This is used for virtual servers.
The owner of a pool or a tape can see only his pool or tapes.

1-1-3 Only one device per drive.
There is no more non-rewind device, neither control device for drives.
By ths way, it is now possible to use non-scsi devices

1-1-4 Emails
It is possible to enter an email address for an Arkeia user.
Arkeia can send an email when the backup is finished.
It can also send a request for a new tape.

1-2 Backup
1-2-1 Continuous backup
Continuous backup means that a backup doesn't finish where there is no
	  more file to backup.
It can be stopped manually, using the GUI, with the button:
	  - "Standard mode".
A backup can be started in "standard mode" or "continuous mode".
The mode can be changed during the backup with the GUI.
Thanks to this feature, users can add their own savepack to a running
	  backup (see below)

1-2-2 Adding savepack to running backup
It is possible to add a new savepack to a running backup.

1-2-3 Lists of operations
During a backup, it is possible to know the status of the different
operations. For example, you can know which trees are already backed up,
and which ones are in waiting mode.

1-2-4 Wait for drive
Now, if no drive is available, Arkeia waits until one becomes free.

1-3 X11 interface
1-3-1 Resizable interface
It is now possible to resize the X11 interface

1-3-2 Online Help
If the help screen is openned, when you click in a zone, the help
	  associated to this zone appears.

1-3-3 Help index
In the Help menu, it is possible to consult one specific help.

1-4 Y2K display
1-4-1 Year in 4 digits
Everywhere, the year is displayed with 4 digits

1-4-2 Journal
The format of the journal has changed:
The year is with 4 digits.
The name of the journal is now: arkeia.jl2

1-5 Command Line Interface (ARKC)
      This is a new interface.
To use it, just start arkc.
	  You can get help with:
	  # arkc -curses -usage
                              ----------------

2) Upgrade from Arkeia 4.0
